It's now lawful, in the state of Minnesota, to just let the baby die.

I know that people are going to come at me with the old, "That almost never happens." line. Frankly, I don't care. It's now the law in Minnesota. It has happened. Nobody knows how often it's happened. People should be in prison.

Shortly after Tim Walz took office, there was a subtle but substantial change in the law regarding abortion. Namely, if the abortion didn't take, and the baby ends up being born alive, law used to say that the baby was to be issued medical care. They changed the law to say that the baby must be issued comfort care.

That's the same language that we use to refer to hospice.

It's pretty damn clear that any and all of these cases are third trimester. If it were earlier, there could be another attempt to finish the abortion correctly. Seemingly, this isn't about saving the life of the would-be mother, being that the mother is roped into the decision, it seems that she would still be alive. Birth has already been done. This is officially no longer about the woman's body. The baby is now separated. Minnesota law now says that, at that stage, it's lawful to just make the baby comfortable while they let it die.

It's already happened about ten times by official records. Tim Walz ordered to stop keeping track of the numbers two years ago; so, we don't know how many more times it's happened.

Yes, I'm sure that most of the babies that were born alive after a failed attempt to abort had enough damage done that they were unlikely to live in the first place. That doesn't change the fact that this change in the law is immoral. It's a child in the world. The umbilical cord has been cut. This is no longer about a woman's body. It's now lawful, in the state of Minnesota, to just let the baby die.

Fine, you're pro-choice. "Look at all the aggressive abortion band happening after Roe v. Wade got overturned." Okay, there's such a thing as an over-fucking correction.

I know CBS and MSNBC have claimed that what I'm saying isn't true, or is misleading. They're wrong, or lying.

Yeah, it's still illegal to actively kill a baby in every state. What this law does is make it legal to simply let a baby die. I'm pretty sure most people who let a baby die do to neglect go to prison.

Tim Walz shouldn't be in the White House. He should be in jail.
