Crypto Mining - Who To TruststeemCreated with Sketch.

Many people are asking about genuine mining opportunities inhere.

The honest answer is: They exist but they are much less profitable than some of the claims made from dubious or outright scamming outfits.

Verified, genuine and long-running mining companies:

Bitcoin.com is probably the biggest and most trusted of the lot, but also the most expensive - 5th of mining is 1495usd pr year. That will likely give you a return of 6-8usd/day during that year in BTC or BTH (or a return of 30-100% approximately over a year). https://pool.bitcoin.com/index.html?code=eKMRxM

Genesis mining is one of the oldest mining companies. They are solid, expensive and give you a return on your money. They do 2 year contracts, but are currently sold out of Bitcoin contracts - they have Zcash, Eth and Monero contracts. A Monero 2year contract for 1000hs is 819usd for instance, which means itd pay for itself in around 300 days and then start turning profit

Hashflare is younger than the other 2 but verified by enough people that it is safe to say theyre genuine. a 1year 5th bitcoin contract is 700usd, but they do deduct fairly high fees, right now they have a black-friday sale making it slightly cheaper - https://hashflare.io/r/D586F47E

Those are the 3 big, verified ones. You can find much cheaper options from offers from other companies, but the vast majority of those are indeed scams.

A popular other choice is Minergate which lets you mine yourself or buy cloudmining. The opinions on this range from "Pure Scam" to "Super". It seems to me theyre semi-scam, they do seem to pay, though some people have problems, they do seem to change their payout minimums when people get close to cashing out and such and people do report skimming on mining (ie, they dont credit all your hashrate) - but you will probably be paid something at some point if you keep going - https://minergate.com/a/5ce1f31f9bd6473ab02f8aaf

Another option is getting your own equipment and finding a hosting company to maintain/run it.

Either way, if you venture outside the big 3 - be extremely careful before dishing out your cash
