Time Management #5: The Element of Time and the Great Slippage...
Hello, dear Steemians!
Here we are with yet another post in our series regarding the philosophy of time management and why it is of highest and utmost importance in your everyday life.
As you know, there are three primary factors when it comes to time management; mind, space, and time.
We have already covered the part of our mind in depth and in our previous post, we discussed the importance of your work space and how its tidiness can contribute to your efficiency. In today’s blog, we will talk about the most important element of time management; the titular ‘Time’
Time is the greatest resource of our humble mortal lives. But the slippage of time is also our greatest foe. Regardless of what approach you have to life, and how well you are familiar with its pitfalls and challenges, time will be your greatest and ultimate adversary.
Imagine an old version of yourself who has not achieved any of his goals. Ask him about his greatest negligence. It would not be money. It would not be friendships. It would not be romantic relationships. It would not be an embodiment of the world outside. His greatest negligence would be time!
For life in reality is a frame of time. Time moves forward. Every second. Every minute. Every hour. Every day. Every week. Every year. Every decade. Time is constantly moving forward. The important question is: Are you moving forward alongside it, or are you ignoring its passage?
As you sit idly by, precious and unrecoverable moments of your life pass. Even now that you are reading this, unredeemable moments are passing. The greatest folly is that most of the time, we are unconscious of the passage of time.
Take a moment to truly contemplate that sentence and savor the irony of time!
Our unconsciousness of the slippage of time and how every day we waste more and more time is the greatest indication of our failure in life. You would cry your eyes out in pain and agony were you to simply consider the time that you have wasted in your life.
Let us do a mental practice. Bear and indulge me as I draw a picture for you.
We all waste time every day of our lives. Consider one of the hours that you have effectively wasted today. Truly think about what you actually did that made the hour go into waste. Now think about the fact that you can never reclaim that hour.
Think about the eternity of time. Think about it as a resource. As a counted measure. That hour is practically lost forever.
Think of all the meaningful and important things that you could have done with that hour of time.
It is pitiful.
It is sad. But do you want to know the real tragedy? That was just an hour. Imagine the days, the months, the years that we have wasted, idly sitting and watching the world around us move forward while we remain in a pit of our own guilt and regret.
How do we change that?
Regret is pointless. Accept the fact that you are never going to reclaim the wasted time. Decide that you are going to use your time effectively from today; from the very moment you close your browser tab and go on to your next task in the day.
Constantly remind yourself of the slippage of time. Write a note and stick it to the wall. Use technology as a reminder. I don’t know how you want to do it, but always be conscious of the slippage of time.
In your newfound consciousness, you will begin to appreciate your moments and your life. Nothing can bring you down. Nothing can stop you. Nothing can make you feel sad. Nothing can make you waste a second of your time.
Being conscious of the slippage of time is the most important factor of time management in your daily routine, and the single greatest lesson of life!
A BIG HUG!

You're right
Combined with the large amount of time people spend on social networks, sometimes without any purpose instead of manage their time, even if it's only an hour, that hour has millions of possibilities to sort their lives and think about what it's more truly important in the daily routine of each one
You would be surprised at how much can be done around the home when the computer is off.
I once saw a meme that said a clean home is the sign of a broken computer.

Your very good motivational post is sir. You have written very well, that man expresses time to spend time. We destroy today's precious time in the next day's rotation. And in the end it will come at a time when we feel helpless when we think about this time and feel myself miserable.
Thank you.

Dear @chbartist sir
The use of time forwards to us to success. If we ruin the time, then will be destroyed a day time a day. Apart from this, time management is the basic requirement of the workstation of our life. You need to think about those meaningful and important tasks that we could do with time but could not complete the departure tomorrow. If the time is the habit of time management, then the conditions always adversely.

Time gone can never be redeemed. Time should be spent wisely, it is our greatest resource. Work while there is time. Love while there is time. Live your life while there is time.

Dear @chbartist
its true that never discovered the technology to trap time or get it back to our life yet, for that- Of Course it may require a time machine or something. Now we can only use our time in most efficient ways so that we could never waste it.
Still, apart from it, you should understand that no one can use his 100% time left in his life effectively. it's only for some kinda machine or something, That's not who we are.
Still its relevant to use our this 'forward moving thing' efficiently also for HELPING OTHERS, so that we could never regret about that!!
Excellent article as usual @chbartist
Time management is an art.
It is always a balance. It is important not to think time taken to unwind and relax is a waste of time. De stressing is important lest people can have mental breakdowns in the process of chasing time
