Fixed or growth mindsets what is that? And what is your mind type, and why do NASA use it as a criteria for choosing their engineering, figure it out now!

What is growth or fixed mindset and what kind of minds are you? And how can you change your mindset, well after this topic I can promise you one thing, that you’ll know your mindset and how you can change it, but I can’t promise you to be the next Elon Musk! Before we get start we should know that we are all mixed mindsets but what mindset we use the most of time, is what matters!
Fixed mindsets, are those people who believes that they can’t get smarter whatever they did, and they also believe that we were born with a basic talents, abilities and intelligence levels that are fixed in our traits and they’re unchangeable, such a type of people, tend to avoid challenges, give up easily, see effort as a bad or useless thing and feel threating by others success
Growth mindsets, are those who believe that they can get smarter, their abilities are not limited by their traits, and they can always grow in mind and become more intelligent in anything that they work hard for, such a type of people believe that effort is the key for improving and make them stronger, they can learn anything faster, they give their goals more time and effort, they are more successful in school, work, and thus life.
studies of neurosciences showed that our brain is more elastic (malleable) than we ever thought; new networks connections grow and existing ones stregthen, and insulation that speeds transmission of impulses in our brain are build, all this can change by experience, practice, good sleep and food habits, leading to a great Observed mind growth!
But how exactly can you change your mindsets from fixed to growth ones?

  1. Believe that mindsets exist and that it’s possible for you to change your mind
  2. View challenges as opportunities not as obstacles
  3. Value process over results, focus only on the learning process, don’t think about time, and results will follow later
  4. Place effort before talent, hard work always pays off.
Don’t forget to check the references for further information, and don’t forget to take the mindset quiz.
