I can relate to your aversion to certain things that trigger those bad old memories of being poor as a child. That is one reason why I refuse to buy used clothes for personal use. Buying used items to sell on eBay can be smart, but I will never ever buy used for myself again. Being a child in a poverty stricken household can be scary. Being a poor adult is no fun, but at least as an adult, I have some control over my circumstances. I have hope that I can make things better and someday acquire wealth.
