To be very frank my niches are different so I haven't read those books but the way you have described them sounds fine to me.However, when you say you were doubtful or hesitant while writing this post, I must suggest that you have nothing to worry about. The hitch is at the initial stage but once you get going everything falls in line.

Los libros de Gabriel García Márquez son maravillosos... He tenido la oportunidad de leerlos casi todos y, cada uno ha superado mis expectativas. Crónica de una muerte anunciada es mi favorito por diversos motivos y realizar este trabajo teniendo como ejemplo lo que nos asignaron en esta tarea, ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora.
