The sad truth is all the social media giants out there are censoring.. either because of pressure from gvt (legal), or from groups that are powerful.
That is why centralized platforms will eventually end up in the same bucket. Dapps is one step closer to free speech

Patreon has been censoring people i like/follow for more than a year.
I hate them so much.
And then i read there terms of service.
and i hate them more.
And then i read how much money they would skim from me to just handle the minor, all computer based, transaction
and i hate them more
So, to sum up, i hate them more than i love the content creators.
Come to steemit and i will upvote your stuff.
I will even create accounts if there are vention followers who can't get a free account.
