10 DAILY HABITS THAT RUIN YOUR HAIR
Hello friends, i decided to take a different path and start blogging on random topics rather than only fitness and health. So today i am talking about 10 daily bad habits that make you bald fast, So lets start!
See as a guy, you gotta know that at some point of life , we all gonna go bald, so till you have your hair on head it is your responsibility to take care and keep it in its peak condition.
SHAMPOO SELECTION
Firstly ,we gotta talk about using the correct shampoo, keep in mind something called SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE , its the most commonly used chemical in shampoo and its act like a detergent on your hair . This chemical is little harsh on your hair but it works best with anti dandruff shampoo and you should use it once a week and on other day use slightly milder shampoo which have SODIUM LAURETH SULPHATE . The difference between these two shampoos is that you can use the laureth one more than once a week. The best decision is using a shampoo which is completely sulphate -free but they are little expensive. so better option is
MILD SHAMPOOS:
2-3 Times/Week
ANTI- DANDRUFF SHAMPOO:
1 TIME/WEEK
EXCESS HAIR PRODUCT USAGE
Nowadays we all use hair products like wax, gel etc but at the end of the day its a chemical so you can use if you are going out for a party or occasion but dont use it on routine basis . And everytime you use, ,make sure to wash your hair correctly with water first , then a little bit of hair and finally with shampoo.
Only use once in 2-3 weeks
EXCESS SUNLIGHT
Sunlight gives you Vitamin-D and its good for health but too much, too often sunlight is bad for you, because sun with its good stuff also contain UV RAYS and that rays fall on your hair scalp and destroy the EPITHELIAL CELLS which actually help in your hair growth. Avoid harsh sunlight if you can.
SWEATING & EXCERCISE
Sweat is good for you but it washes of all the natural oils in your scalp and its also mixture of water and your body~s natural salt & proteins, the water might dry up but those salts & proteins will crust up on your scalp and hair that further destroy your hair.So try to schedule your hair wash with the shampoo on the same day on which you had your cardio session and also keep in mind if you swim chlorine water is bad for your hair so wash your hair entirely.
POLLUTION
This is something you cant avoid because we all live in cities but you can avoid hair product(wax, mousse , clay) because it caches pollution and affects the health of your hair . you can go for slightly lighter hair products like serums, natural hair cream into the city because all these lighter hair product actually help you protect your hair.
GIVE YOUR HAIR A BREAK
As important for your hair to shampoo its also important to give it a break, take a day or 2 days in a row only wash your hair with water. The life of your hair is the moisture present in your hair and the oil that secreted by your scalp and your hair and overusing shampoo gets rid of oil & moisture in your hair which is important for your hair too.So ideally take a break in a while.
BLOWDRYING
The blow drying of your hair help to remove water but heat rips away oil & moisture. Only use it once or twice in a month because excess usage absolutely make it a hair damage and hair breakage.
HAIR COLORING & STRAIGHTENING
When you use color or die the outer layer (CUTICLE) of your hair is destroyed. All these chemical which you use in saloon or at home produces heat which destroy the natural oils of your hair.
DIET & LIFESTYLE
While we are talking about diet , three important factors
WATER
firstly get your water intake done right so that most of the time your urine is clear it indicates that you are hydrated that means your skin and hair stay healthy.
PROTEIN
Focus on your protein intake atleast take a gram of protein per kg of body weight.
ANTIOXIDANTS
You mainly get antioxidants form veggies and fruits as they give you a a lot of nutrients and antioxidants.
AVOID SMOKING
When you smoke, you inhaling a lot of toxins which end up harming the follicle health and the root of your hair gets messed up because of your smoking habit.Stay away from it
STRESS & ANXIETY
Last but not the least although the most important thing is this because the moment you are stressed your body elevates its own cortisol. Cortisol is the hormone that promotes the process of aging so it affects the quality of your skin and hair.The best solution to this problem is doing regular meditation.
