Is fitness and body building the same?
Most of the people thinks the fitness and the body building comes under the same category but actually these two categories are separate though both needs hard work and needs special attention on the diet but impact of both are different.
Fitness
Fitness is some thing that helps you keep you smart, healthy and good looking through out the year. So in order to keep yourself smart one have to focus on two aspects that is the workout and the nutrition. Fitness means that the body will maintain the same bodyfat percentage and weight round the year by balancing the diet and exercise.

Fitness is much more difficult to maintain because following the same diet through out the year is very difficult. Fitness models and athletes comes under this categories. Ther are some key points that should be observed
1) Strength training;
Doing the weight training around four to five times a week. Weight training boost the metabolism and increase the muscles definition. Around 65% of workout should be resistance training.

2) Cardio Vascular Activities
Cardio is the best form of exercise to keep the heart and lungs healthy. These exercises boost the heart rate and lungs needs more oxygen to sucked inside. As the heart rate increases the body start burning the calories in higher rate and eventually reducing the fat. There are chances that if you do cardio alot one may lose muscles along with the fats. Preserving the muscle and getting the fat out is the better choice. In order to do so cardio session shoult be kept 3 times a week and 35 to 40% of total workout should be cardio.

3) Sleep
The body growth and fat loss occurs when the body goes down at rest. Keeping 8 hours of sleep and rest daily will help a lot.

4) Nutrition and Diet
Diet should be balanced through out the week. Keep it four days caloric deficit diet plan and 3 days caloric surplus diet plan.
Protein intake should be constant with 0.7 grams per pound of body weight. Fats and carbs main be varied if you are in deficit decrease the carbs and fats. If it is caloric surplus increase the carbs and fats.

Bodybuilding
This form comes under the particular category of sports that in simple words be defined as the getting stronger and stronger by increasing the muscle and shredding the fat. The body weigh should be as more as you can but it will be most of the muscle and fats as low as possible. In this category the body fat doesn't remain the same through out the years. As after the competition they may relax for a time more than month and more this results change in body compositions. This people follow strict training and diet plan. Most of the year they remain in the caloric surplus diet and get their body fat as less as possible before the competition. Their training schedule comprises on 90% of the strength training and less cardio. they increases cardio when they get closer to the competition.
