This video explains in detail how to create an Ethereum account using My Ether Wallet.

Ethereum account is needed to create an Ethereum address in other to send and receive Ethereum and other ERC 20 compatible tokens.

NOTE: Myetherwallet.com is not a bank account. It’s just an interface to the Ethereum Blockchain. This simply means any transaction you make cannot be undone once it’s processed in the Blockchain.

Therefore, in other to prevent losing your hard-earned money, you must always keep your private key safe from hackers.
