Lionel Messi v Cristiano Ronaldo row leads to stabbing death in India....
It was a normal Sunday breakfast for few Nigerians residing in a same building at Nalasopara(India). It was then when things started getting ugly after one of them decided to debate over the best football player in the world. The debate turned into a heated conversation and one of them slit the throat of his friend leading to his death.
The deceased has been identified as Obina Michael Durumchukwu (34), a resident of Mahesh Apartment in Nalasopara. While the accused were identified as Michael Nwabu Chukurwma (34) and John Okoro (33).
"The friends entered into the debate as they were ardent football fans. The victim entered into the heated conversation and considered Cristiano Ronaldo to be the best football player but the accused were supporting Lionel Messi," said a senior police officer from Tulinj police station.
