Medical science that changed the unknown ray
Winter of 1895 The second week begins with the end of the first week of November. The day was 8th November. Good time in Germany at this time.
Fifty-year-old professor of physics at Wuerzburg University was busy working in his laboratory. He has been working on the effects of cathode rays for several days.
In order to target this effect, he was passing through the flow of gas through various gases. A little earlier he noticed that there was a kind of ray of light coming out of the discharge tube through the flow of electricity.
He was editing his tests in the dark room. The tube used for its testing was a special type of crooked tube.
And he kept the tube covered in black cloth. When the unknown whistle was coming out from the tube, the ray was illuminating the screen made by barium platinosanide. This screen was spreading fluorescence despite being 2 meters away from the discharge tube.
The matter created a lot of curiosity in his mind. For the university and students for a while, he started spending the rest of the time in the lab. In the next 6 weeks he worked in the night-night lab. He continued his experiments and used the photographic plate to capture different types of objects of various density objects. During this whole time, he did not tell anyone about this. Not even his wife.
Three days before Christmas, Professor brought his wife to the laboratory. In his mind there are many concerns and thoughts. He was thinking that this unknown ray of the human body? That is why he came with the wife for testing. So think of that job. He started again in the front of the wife's hand. His wife was wearing a ring after hand.
What a surprise! On the screen a picture of his handshour black rose. Where the hand ring was also clearly visible.
The professor went on playing the sun with joy. He realized that this is the result of being an invisible ray from the tube. It seemed incredible to be able to reach the Deep layer.
He never imagined that a radiation could cross the densal particle so deep and reach the interior. He became very excited. And to make it appear in front of the man, all the preparations are done.
December 28, 1895. The Wurzberg Physico-Medical Society first came to know about a ray, which could take a picture of a bone from the body.
On January 16, 1896, the newspaper "The New-York Times" called this discovery a new type of photography, which could take pictures of hidden solids and break the wood, paper, and blood.
When there is more detailed research about this invention, some more interesting facts came out.
It was found that despite the presence of a magnetic field, this ray showed no deviation.
It was further noticed that this radiation could cross any metereol regardless of the particle density.
These information also gave a huge response to the social and general public. The ability to penetrate this invisible ray into the solids attracts a lot of people.
Scientists are fascinated by this wave with less wave length than light. This discovery creates new awakening in physics.
In the Department of Medicine and Surgery this huge amount of light was felt. Within a month of the announcement of the professor, several medical radiographs were made in Europe and America, which provided excellent services to the surgeon in their work.
In the month of 1896. Six months after the invention, the use of this invisible ray began in full swing to find the position of bullets in the battlefield. And now these ray requirements are not saying.
It is astonishing that the professor of Wuerzburg University did not give the patent name itself. Yet for this great discovery, he won the Nobel Prize in 1901. He was the first physicist of the Nobel Prize in Physics in the field of physics.
Of course, I have understood who I am talking about! That great person is none other than Professor Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen. Because Röntgen was not aware of the source of this radiation, so he gave the name unknown ray or X-Ray.
