SLOW COOKER BONE BROTH

The perfect winter warmer and no hassle in the slow cooker paleo bone broth.
INGREDIENTS
A mix of beef bones – marrow, meat bones, knuckles, etc.
6 sprigs of thyme
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 brown onion – halved
2 carrots – quartered
2 stalks of celery – chopped
4 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
METHOD
Preheat oven to 390F.
Roast bones for 30 minutes in a roasting tray.
Place bones in a slow cooker and cover with water.
Place all vegetables, vinegar, bay leaf and herbs into slow cooker.
Put the lid on and cook for 24 hours on low.
Take out bones and serve up hot.
Delicious and protein packed.
