RE: MBTI: My Personality Type

in #mbti7 years ago (edited)

I've always been intrigued by the idea of meeting an INTJ. Women INTJs are the rarest of all MBTI types. I think the percentage is .05%. Truth be told I've only met male and that has only been online when they responded to my MBTI articles haha!

I don't think I've ever met one either. Ayn Rand was one though. So was Karl Marx. How's that for contrasting two sides of the same coin.

You say you clash with them. How so?

INTPs are good at finding and determining truth, but don't always like to draw conclusions. For us, well at least me, the saying "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it must be a duck." isn't necessarily true. I mean it's probable, but it also might be a parrot. The world wants to know if it is a duck and as an INTP, my answer is "probably". I don't have enough information to prove conclusively that it is in fact a duck. The INTJ will take the data and analyze it in the same manner, but would reach the conclusion that it is a duck, then vigorously defend that position until death. They are so sure about it in fact that they hold disdain for those who can't understand and often end up talking down to those people. At least that has been my experience.

Of course I'm bias, so take that with a grain of salt.
