Places you must visit in * Mauritius*

Hello steemians...
Today i'm going to show you some places in my country Mauritius alias the paradise island.
Mark Twain once said,

'Mauritius was made first and then heaven, heaven being copied after Mauritius'.

He was absolutely right!
Mauritius is rightly famed for its sapphire-blue waters, powder-white beaches, luxury resorts and so many other things that provide a front-row seat onto some of the most beautiful views in the Indian Ocean.

And now let me show you around as a proof how beautiful this little island really is...

  • Seven Cascades

Seven Cascades play an important role in boosting up the beauty of Mauritius as a tourist destination. The Falls make a height of around 290 meters and this is the highest one in Mauritius. The seven falls simultaneously to make it more delightful amidst the glittering greenery.

  • Chamarel Colored Earth

Chamarel Colored Earth is a special tourist attraction since it is the arrangement of sand of seven different colors.

  • Le Caudan Waterfornt

Le Caudan Waterfront has a full space for both shoppers, local artists, tourists and even gastronomes. The exciting ambience provided will leave you truly jaw dropped.

  • Hotels and Beaches

Luxury hotels, resorts with exotic beaches for relaxing and various sea activities available like deep sea diving, surfing, kayyak, glass bottom and much more..

  • Trou Aux Cerfs

Trou Aux Cerfs is a dormant volcano. The last eruption took place around the year 1200 and is surrounded by oak trees.

  • Eau Bleue

Eau Bleue is a turquoise water consists of 3 waterfalls which named as Cascade Plateau, Cascade Disab and Cascade Mamzel. The turquoise glare is from underground water springs in summer.

  • Point aux Caves Lighthouse

A unique lighthouse of the country situated on the cliffs and caves of Pointe aux Caves which still helps incoming boats as a precious guide to actual ships with its imposing height of 30 meters.

  • Mauritius National Botanical Garden

The botanical garden is spread over sprawling landscape which has arround 650 varieties of plants. It was earlier opened by French governor and was considered to be private garden.
