I like the Greeks for being Mathematicians and Philosophers. It is a great combination, I also forgot about the Intercept theorem.
You should try to deal with @cheetah , he will most likely prevent significant (whale) votes on this article.

I drew the diagram and it is everywhere once you want to study about Thales. I don't care about voting, I do care more about spreading the knowledge. It's OK at least cheeta sending the readers to another useful page.
