Chronology of Phase 1 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

in #marvel6 years ago

In this post I will talk about the different phases of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) I will talk about all this in different post because to do all the compilation in a single post seems to me too much information.

You should know that MCU Movies have a chronological order, not necessarily in the order that they have all come out, here they will understand the relationships between the different films that I mentioned from the beginning.

To understand perfectly, the exact order must be followed.

No photographic material in this post is my property.

I must also indicate that I will not take into account the series of the different digital platforms, I will only show the films in their chronological order.

Without more to say let's start with Phase 1 of MCU.

PHASE 1

    Movies:

  • Captain America The First Avenger
  • Captain Marvel
  • Iron Man
  • Iron Man 2
  • The Incredible Hulk
  • Thor
  • The Avengers
  • Captain America the First Avenger

This movie is about the origins of Steve Rogers as Captain America, although it is not the movie that starts the MCU it is a very important film for all the MCU, it is set in the Second World War between 1943-1945, in this film we can see for the first time the tesseract.

    Captain Marvel

This film is not part of the chronology formally but is set in the years 90's with a Nick Fury who is not yet director of SHIELD and no hero has appeared until years later.

    Iron Man

This is formally the first movie of the MCU and is set in the year 2010, this film gives the start for the MCU to expand.

    Iron Man 2

Right after Iron Man started the MCU, Iron Man 2 arrived to expand it, showing characters of great relevance in the MCU and talking about a very ambitious project The Avengers Initiative.

    The Incredible Hulk

After the events of Iron Man 2 comes Hulk despite being a pretty forgotten movie is very important especially for its post-credits scene where Tony Stark tries to convince General Ross about using Bruce Banner for a project, direct reference to The Avengers Initiative.

    Thor

This film starts the trilogy of the God of Thunder, it becomes the most relevant film before the great success of MCU, in the scene Post credits we can see the location of the Space Gem.

    The Avengers

After mentioning previously The Avengers Initiative, this initiative is carried out in this film being one of the most relevant films of the whole MCU as it shows the appearance of different heroes to be part of The Avengers to defend the Planet from Loki who wants to use the tesseract (Space Gem) to initiate an alien Invasion, its post credit scene will have a lot of relevance in the future .

With this film, Phase 1 of MCU ends giving opening at the same time to Phase 2 that I will soon collect as this Phase
