My Confused Martian looked for a lava lamp that they liked to put in the bath with him. One might find this to be a fairly exciting proposal, to me, but not to the Martian, who expected that this idea was out of this world. Bizarrely, a lava lamp would be the item that was selected.

My Confused Martian searched for a set of lego that they sometimes eat. It might have been a fairly odd approach to life, to me, my mum and my dad, but not to the Martian, who had decided that this idea is sublime. Strangely, a set of lego was the item that was opted for.

My Confused Martian often carried a can of Dr Pepper that they would often try to balance on their head. This could be considered a fairly unusual action, to me and my parents, but not to the Martian, who assumed it was the most awesome idea. A can of Dr Pepper is the thing to opt for.

My Confused Martian found a cucumber that they liked to share. One might consider this to be a fairly peculiar idea, to me and my wife, but not to the Martian, who had come to the conclusion that the idea was breathtaking. A cucumber would be the chosen thing.

My Confused Martian always had with them a Harry Potter wand that they would share. It would have been a funny thought, to me and my children, but not to the Martian, who felt that the idea was epic. Who would have thought, a Harry Potter wand was the thing that was opted for.

My Confused Martian had a pint of cider to play with. It is a weird thought, to many, but not to the Martian, who considered that it was in fact, spectacular. Remarkably, a pint of cider would be the thing that was chosen.
