Are you a young people?

At the end of each year, we are always given a chance to jump out of the small circle of our lives and see the truth on a larger time scale. For example, this year we will realize that the American soldiers who are now fighting in Afghanistan are still settling the feud that began on 9/11 for the United States, but some of these young people were not even born on that day (9/11). Also, this year we will suddenly realize that we have passed the first 20 years of the 21st century, and the third decade is about to begin. If you were born in 1990s, you are going to be 30 years old soon. If your kids are going to be born in 2020s, once your kids grow up as your age, they look at you today just like you look at the people born in 1960s. They will think you are old people. In the past two days, I joked with some friends born in 1990s. I said when we will live in a nursing home together in the future, I am 90 years old, and you are 70 years old. In fact, we are the same generation in most of people’s eyes. So, you see, time is a ruthless guy. No label can guarantee that you are young, except that your lifestyle is really young.
