Mega Marketing Madness
"Marketing is everything you do to get someone to do what you want them do."
So, I Love Marketing Because...
It truly has no limits. Thereʼs no glass ceiling on how innovative you can be. There are no boxes to keep you from creating unimaginable marketing tactics and techniques. If you can conceive it, you truly can achieve it...or at least attempt to execute it.
What youʼre about to read is a mere snapshot of how my brain works. The strategies and techniques youʼre about to access are responsible for over $100,000 in revenues in my business.
They worked for me and theyʼll most likely work for you...if you work ʻem.
#1: Give It Away
Kick Ass Strategy/Tactic: Create or acquire a PHYSICAL product and GIVE IT AWAY!
Steps To Do It:
•Research best niches or use your expertise
•Find or create a book, booklet, CD or DVD around the niche
•Create a simple short sales page that outlines the benefits of the product explaining that all theyʼre paying for is a tiny shipping or processing fee
•Mail the product quickly (charge more for international shipping)
Why Do It: It builds your online list and gives you physical addresses, which is much more
valuable from a customer acquisition and retention perspective.
Success Keys: Keep shipping and handling fees low - between $4.95 and $7.95 otherwise it
feels like a purchase. Make a one time offer for a related product.
Monetization Ideas: Ask JV Partners if theyʼd like to “ride along” in your mailer. You can
charge fees to include a flyer and set up affiliate links complete with tracking code.
Tools You Need:
• Hot physical product (book, DVD, CD, booklet, T-shirt, etc.)• Sales page and backend system
• Payment processor (PayPal, WePay, 2CheckOut, etc.)
• Autoresponder (GetResponse, Aweber, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
• 48hourbooks.com has great quality and great prices for books/booklets.
• CreateSpace.com and Kunaki.com are good options for physical products if youʼre not giving away for shipping.
#2: Booklet Mania
Kick Ass Strategy/Tactic: Pick a HOT TOPIC and create a short booklet.
Steps To Do It:
• Research best niches or use your existing content/ideas
• Create a booklet or workbooklet (10-20 pages)
• Publish it as a 4X6, 5X7 or 8X10 booklet or workbook
• Include it as an unannounced bonus either digitally or with physical purchases, including embedded special offers to your products or affiliate products
Why Do It: It builds your credibility, and because booklets are shorter than books, consumption will rise. Gives folks an appetizer and gets them into your funnel.
Success Keys: Be sure your booklet delivers good content. Three to five solid pieces of value
is a good start. Write your book in an interactive fashion with images and artwork.
Monetization Ideas: Easily offer them as “fries with the burger” for $1 or $2 either as a
standalone or as an OTO (one time offer). People WILL take the quick upsell.
Tools You Need:
• 10-20 pages of content created in Word processing program
• Great title (Recipes That Make You Wanna Holler, The Big Book On Ebay, How To Go ToVegas & Win At BlackJack Every time
• Publisher or Pages (if doing online booklet, just convert to PDF with a FREE PDF Converter); if doing a hard copy of booklet
#3: Automated Teleseminars
Kick Ass Strategy/Tactic: Set up automated teleseminars & sales calls
Steps To Do It:
•Decide on topic or existing audio content
•Set up teleseminar line
•Deliver, record and archive your teleseminar
•Publish your teleseminar REPLAY number on ALL marketing materials
•Include a clear CTA - Call To Action
Why Do It: More accessible than a replay of webinar because people always have their phones with them. It builds your credibility and list if done properly. Like automated webinars, teleseminars are a great way to connect and teach. And itʼs a lot easier to sell products through a tele/webinar.
Success Keys: Upload old teleseminars or seminars youʼve archived and add a simple call to action or lead generating offer at the end of them. They can live in perpetuity! Ka-Ching! Monetization Ideas: Embed advertising within the audio or brand it at the beginning. Send people to a website for special offer. Test different call to action offers. Sell JV partners air time.
Tools You Need:
• High converting offer or product
• Sales page
• Conference Call System that allows archiving with phone number
• Payment processor (PayPal, WePay, 2CheckOut, etc.)
• Autoresponder (GetResponse, Aweber, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
