Want to Start Making Money Online? Stop Acting Like You Want to Make Money Online!

Stop trying to “make the sale”, and you’ll start to make money online…

Hey everyone! In my original post regarding making money online, I created a short video along with a text file using a speech-to-text program to create the content of the post.  I discovered how messed up that post was so I brought some of it here and deleted the other.

What's the problem?

The biggest snag people run into is trying to get all showman like and sounding all "salesy" and "pitchy". They get online and want to “try try try” to produce any kind of income they can and the problem with that lies inherent in the fact that people instantly realize when you’re trying to make money off of them.

What one needs to understand is this; the first thing we want to do is build some trust with our audience and we want people to be able to relate to us and we want people to get to know us better so that when it comes time to give a review or a recommendation on something that we use in our business, people are going to open their eyes and they’re going to open their ears because they feel they can better take advice from someone they can like and trust.

Don’t be like all the rest

If I can give any advice to anyone it would be this: just be yourself and learn to be the person you are meant to be. Don’t stand in line with all the others out there who act like “Hey You! Yeah the one in the red shirt, come get this product!  It’s great, you simply can’t wait to have it! Be the first on your block to have $10,000 worth of stuff for 5 grand!”

Believe it or not, I still see this over and over again… it goes on all day long, every day, there are people out there who make it out to be that they have THE product that’s going to get you over the hurdle, that’s going to make you money online, and I’m sorry folks but most of that hype is just to suck you in and make you believe that what they’re selling is the only thing out there that’s going to work for you. Don’t fall for that crap!  Anybody, and I mean anybody, can honestly earn a living online without being a showman. All you have to do is get out there!!

How complicated can it be?

Be yourself.  I just wanted to get out here and let everyone know if you want to make money online, as I said, “stop acting like it”,  get to know the audience you want to reach.  Do a little "due diligence" to find the people you want to help, the type of demographic that they are, whether they’re 18-25 or 30-45, male or female, living in a certain country, interested in what you do. Then, try to focus in on those people and become part of your niche's community.  Learn to understand your audience better, help solve their problems, and that will be the one thing that moves you forward as you continue to build your business online.
