Make your own cinnamon rolls, with or without topping (include ingredients, quantities and step by step instructions) with my recipe or any other of your choice.
Ingredients and quantity used
- 500g of Wheat flour
- 1/4 cup of Butter
- 1/4 cup of Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup of Water
- 1 tbsp of Yeast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp of Vanilla

Fillings: Butter, Sugar, Cinnamon and Raisins
Topping: Chocolate Syrup and Sprinkels
Step 1
In a bowl i place the flour, sugar and salt then mixed properly.

Step 2
In the middle of the properly mixed flour, sugar and salt, I made a valcon, added the egg, yeast, butter and also poured in a cup of warm water with vanilla, mixed all the ingredients vigrously until it formed a dough.

Step 3
Then i sprinkled some flour on a table and kneaded properly. After that i let the dough rest in a greased bowl, covered for 2hours and allowed it rise.

I placed the dough on a table, stretched it into a rectangular shape before spreading butter on it.

Step 5
After step 4, i combined the sugar and cinnamon in a plate and mixed together before sprinkingly it on the buttered dough, i followed that with dropping a generous amount of Raisins on it.

Step 6
I neatly rolled the dough beautifully with all the fillings in it before cutting it into several equal sizes. I placed them on a baking tray and covered it to rest for 30minutes while preheating the oven.

Step 7
After 30minutes of resting i placed the tray into the preheated oven and allowed it to bake for 25mins.
At exactly 25mins of baking i brought out the tray with a delicously looking Cinnamon rolls sitting on it which i allowed to cool before adding my topping of Chocolate syrup and sparkles.
Include a handwritten identification sign with: username and date.

When you tried the cinnamon rolls, what was your experience like? Did you like them? Explain your answer in detail.
Learning something new comes with that feeling of trying to get it right. Making cinnamon rolls gave me that feeling. The ingredients used were an everyday ones that wasn't hard to get, the process taught me patience whereby i had to wait for hours and minutes to get the dough right for the cinnamon roll to come out good. I enjoyed the process of adding the fillings. When i finally brought out the cinnamon roll from the oven the delicious aroma of the cinnamon on the roll made it so inviting and appetising. I loved the whole experience from scratch to finish, it was indeed fulfilling.
Is there a stand or store in your city that sells cinnamon rolls? Tell us.
In my city there is no stand or store where cinnamon rolls is being sold. There are other similar rolls but not cinnamon rolls
In the recipe, would you change the cinnamon for another ingredient?
I would prefer using the cinnamon because it's taste and smells is unique and distinct. Although i have seen some similar rolls made with fish or meat which are also delicious, but i think they both have there own unique taste.
