How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the first week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S26/W1, organized by the Honorable Teacher @nahela. She has brought us a delicious and healthy food, whose name is "Tequeños". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

A popular dish in Venezuela is Tequeños. Where cheese is used as a filling. Today I am going to make tequeños following the instructions of the respected teacher @nahela ma’am. Before that, I present the ingredients used to make Tequeños:-
Ingredients to make the tequeños: -
Flour | 2 cups |
Margarine | 1 tablespoon |
Sugar | 1 tablespoon |
Salt | as much |
Cold water | 1/2 cup |
Soybean oil | as needed |
Mozzarella cheese | 100 grams |
Now I present the tutorial to make Tequeños:-
Tutorials on making the Tequeños
🔘 Step:-01
- First, take two cups of flour in a large bowl and add as much salt as I can to the flour.
- I then add 1 tablespoon of margarine to the flour, along with a tablespoon of sugar.
- I mix all the items. Add water little by little to the mixture and keep mixing.

- Mix it in the same way as we would when baking the dough for bread.
- Now I wrap the dough in a clean polythene bag

- Now I put the wrapped dough in the fridge. I put the dough in the fridge for about 2.30 hours.

- Now I take the mozzarella cheese. For the filling in the Tequeños, I cut it into thin slices and arranged it in a bowl.

- Now I take the dough out of the refrigerator
- It is a layer of dough that is flattened with a rolling pin.
- Now I divide the dough into three parts

- Now I take one of the dough pieces from there and roll it thinly.
- After rolling it thinly, I cut it again into thin slices with a knife

- Now I take each of the dough pieces and put mozzarella cheese in it, and roll it well with another piece of dough. It should be pushed in such a way that no cheese is visible, and the cheese does not come out after putting it in the oven.
- I also made several tekin following the same method.

- Now I take a pan, put it on the stove, add enough soybean oil to the pan, and when the oil is hot enough, I put the tekin in it. And fry it.

I made today's Tequeños to participate in the Steemit challenge. So, I wrote the name of the challenge on a paper and took a picture,

When I made the tekin, my experience was great. On the one hand, I am enjoying the fun of making a popular Venezuelan dish, and on the other hand, I am gaining experience in making new dishes.
In our country, this dish is usually called a roll. Where various types of vegetables and meat are filled, they are also expensive. But I also made a tequin with a few items. The meal was also very tasty. The cost was very little. It was beyond my experience to make such a delicious meal at such a low cost. I enjoyed the meal with my family and neighbors. Everyone admitted that the Tequeños was also a lot of delicious.
Most importantly, I enjoyed the excitement of making a popular international food the whole time.

We usually eat tomato sauce with rolls. I also like to use tomato sauce with Tequeños. Tomato sauce is my favorite sauce. This sauce is a little sour. A little sweet, a little spicy, when I put the sauce in my mouth with the food, it increases the taste of the food a lot. It makes the food more delicious.
Tomatoes also have health benefits. They are rich in vitamin C and play a role in maintaining our health. I prefer tomato sauce to eat Tequeños.

I have already said that I made Tequeños for the first time. I also said that Tequeños are popular in Venezuela, as well as in our country. I like rolls.
Since this is my first time making it, I made it according to my teacher @nahela's rules. I did not try to follow any other method. The food was incredibly tasty. Many people have requested to make the food again. In this case, I can add chicken meat, vegetables, and noodles with cheese filling. I think adding cheese, margarine, and bean sprouts will enhance the taste of the food.
Later, I planned to make Tequeños with chicken meat, margarine, and cheese.
