I will proceed to the homework tasks given by the teacher;

Based on what was established in the previous module, analyze what type of skin you have, how you should care for it, and what type of products you should use for that type of skin

Skin is very special because it plays a vital role in overall well-being especially when it comes to creating a protective barrier by acting as a shield to hinder harmful element such as UV radiation, physical injuries, bacteria and viruses. My face skin falls under oily skin, I have an oily skin that constantly produce oil on my face.

The oily nature of my skin has placed me in a position whereby I can't ignore my face. I have to do a lot of work by cleaning with wipes, use products that can regulate it. I make use of skin doctor face cleanser and in the absence of that, I also use another product called; hydrating face toner. I simply apply it on a cotton wool and then use it to softly clean my oily face to remove all dirts.

After which I apply a face serum called; Rosehip Niacinamide by carefully rubbing it on my face.

Show us a personal photo, in which you must explain the shape of your face and also tell us how you should contour and highlight according to your specific shape

I have an oval face shape which always makes it easy for me to contour and highlight by using a little quantity of makeup products when applying because it can be well pronounce.

I usually apply contour under my cheekbones and the side of the forehead then make an highlight at the center of my forehead, under the eyes, before the jawline and the bridge of my nose. After applying the products for contour and highlight, I make use of beveled cut brush to blend the contour then leave the highlight till when I'm ready to blend in with powder brush ( the biggest brush or rounded cut brush).

According to the implements needed to achieve good makeup, which ones did you know before and which ones do you use frequently; did you use them correctly? Which ones are really essential when applying makeup?

After reading through the makeup course for this week, I have come to understand the function of different makeup tools. Since I am not a professional makeup artist or do makeup often, I have not found a need to own a complete makeup kit. I usually mix up brushes for application and blending which is very wrong. Brushes and blending tool ( puffs and sponges) are essential when applying makeup.

When applying makeup, I make sure to moisturize my face first (very important), the next step is to apply liquid foundation then blend in with puff. I make use of the concealer after drawing the eye brows, I blend in with the concealer brush before proceeding to touch other part of my face; the eyeshadow, eyelashes, under eyes, contour, highlight and give it a perfect blending that suit my skin color.

As explained in the previous module, if you need to apply concealer (a liquid or cream product) to correct an imperfection, which of the implements do you think you could use for its application and which one for its blending

In order to correct an imperfection using concealer, I make use of cat's tongue brush to apply the liquid concealer then use the rounded cut brush to blend after applying powder to cover the mistake.

¡Hola!
