Major Conflicts and Tensions

Iran-Israel War:

This remains a highly volatile situation. There have been continued airstrikes and missile attacks from both sides, despite claims of a ceasefire by the US President. Reports indicate that US strikes may have only set back Iran's nuclear program by months, not fully obliterating it as some had claimed. The UN has relisted Israel on its blacklist of countries committing abuses against children in armed conflict.

Russia-Ukraine War:

The conflict continues with deadly attacks on civilians. Russia has launched missile strikes on cities like Dnipro and drone attacks on Odesa and Kharkiv, causing numerous casualties and damage. Ukraine is seeking more Western aid.

Gaza War:

Israeli military operations in Gaza persist, with reports of significant Palestinian casualties, including those killed while waiting for humanitarian aid. The recovery of remains of hostages held in Gaza has also been reported.
