Aw, thank you! :) I was trying to mail the buttons that were prizes from a contest I ran - Steem swag! I thought the postage would be like mailing a card but with an extra stamp or two. I was wrong! o.O So instead of $2 or $3 like I was expecting to send to Canada, they wanted $10.50 and a customs declaration!
I was like ...it's a card ...with a button in it. The post office guy was not having it. LOL
I mailed a Brass ring I bought for a couple of bucks at a thrift store
To my friend in Canada, I think it was something like $15.
Outrageous. I too had to fill out a form for customs.
O: That's crazy!
