MADRID TRIPLE NOTES

I love the cities that welcome you as soon as you take your steps and embracing them right into your life. It is in Madrid that we have not been able to meet for years. I must admit if anything comes up that Barcelona is the guilty of delaying our meeting with Madrid! I have not been so warmed up there so I always postpone Madrid .. But at last I'm here for 3 days! The weather is 17 degrees. Partly cloudy. Season Madrid.

Hello Madrid

We arrive at Atocha station from Barajas airport in approximately 40 minutes by 5 Euro with yellow AeroportExpress Bus. There are metro connections or different buses to different parts of the city but this is what fits us.

From this moment on, we walk all the city crazy without using any buses, subways until we use the same bus again in the next one !. Madrid is a slightly sloping place, but it is easy to walk around. The longest distance between the two points we will go to is 900 meters. we can walk to it too, so that we can walk in it. "We are glad that we found a way to dissolve our culinary tricks." We complete the entire journey in this way. Because food is so prevalent and uncomfortable that we need to comfort ourselves consciously! I need it because the adventure starts in a local restaurant without leaving the suitcase on the floor.

El Brillante / Before I came, I read about the popular lunch of the calamari sandwich when I was researching the Madrid cuisine. The most memorable was at El Brillante opposite Atocha station. We are now ready to go as soon as we pass through the front and the hours are near noon. The name is exactly called "Bocadillo de Calamares". We go in this huge buffet and give order. Small tidbits - usually a beer that is always served in such a small place throughout Madrid - and a large calamari fried sandwich next to us. It is quite tasty but the atmosphere is more delicious. There are a lot of locals hanging on the back bank; usually middle-aged. This is a customer profile that I would like to see in the city very often. The places are filled with paper napkins and waste of eaten sandwiches. This is a Madrid classic that I will understand later.
