Does Pick-Up Line Ever Work ?!

Is it overused ?

Pick-up line often comes off as cheesy but does it hurt trying? Girls occasionally get the classics like “Is your name google? Because you’re all I ever searched for”, “Do you have a band aid? Because I just scraped my knees falling for you” or “Do you know what my shirt is made of? Boyfriend Material”. Often you’ll get a cold awkward stare in return or on rare occasions you might get her to giggle.

Our Fear

The biggest challenge of going up to girls is the opening line. We get so 'in' our head that we fail to recognize the situation. Creating an impression is essential to allow girls to paint the canvas as it is the critical moment when you get judged the most. A great number of guys would go by default and start using pick-up lines to break the ice. It can come off funny or sexual or awkward depending on the execution. How you deliver your line is what makes you succeed or fail.

You can see it as a gamble, you’ll never know how she responds unless you’ve observed or know her in some way. Hey I mean, some girls do love cheesy pick-up lines and some hate it but every girl loves funny ones. For whatever reason she doesn’t laugh at your best, she’s the problem and move on to others. :D

My verdict is that if it works, keep the conversation going. Get her to engage and connect with her, don’t force it. You want to select lines that feels ‘natural’ to you too. Be confident no matter how stupid you think you might look. Half ass effort will yield half ass result. I want to accentuate this, be ORIGINAL, no one likes repetitive shit being thrown at her.
