Is the love lost?

Do you feel that your marriage is going south? Do you feel that the spark is missing in your marriage? If yes, then let me tell you, you are not alone. Marriage is a strange relationship with love as it's foundation. You need to nourish it and keep it fresh and only then it can blossom. Many of us take our marriage for granted and that's when the problem arises.

Men get busy with achieving higher ranks in their professional lives thinking that their wife will be waiting for them no matter what. The little surprise on anniversaries are replaced with just a hug, the untimely phone calls are replaced with Wattsapp texts, how was your day gets replaced with what's cooking for dinner and so on. The relationship withers. I won't say it is always the men who are at fault. Well, women also contribute in making the marriage dull after the child is born. They don't care for themselves, put on weight, look less attractive and don't consider their husbands wishes. When both parties in a marriage are at fault how can a marriage survive.

Husband and wife need to understand that it is very important to consider each other's wishes. After all, you have married to keep each other happy. Marriages these days are fragile because the love is lost.

Remember, communication is the key. Consider your partner your best friend. It is just him/ her with whom you can confide for your wildest fantasies. It is only him/ her who won't judge you for whom you are. It is only him/ her who will motivate you to achieve your dreams. So, no matter how weird the topic is, communicate.

Surprises are a must. Surprises are an very important part of relationship. I don't say that the gifts need to be expensive. A simple rose would do the trick provided you have a heart for it. Surprises make you feel wanted and both parties need to make sure they make each other feel wanted in the relationship.

Go for vacations together. Dinner dates once in a while without the kids would also do good for the relationship. Do not let the love fade. Keep the spark in the relationship alive.
