One day with CuiHua Mountains
Hello Steemit Family!
I hope you are all fine and doing well. My name is Musa. I am new here. My first post is about Cuihua Mountain. Last year, I went to Xi’an and spent the whole day in Cuihua Mountains. In this post, I am going to tell you about these mountains and will share some clicks. I hope you will appreciate it.
- Mountains are one of my favorite places to visit because they are beautiful and make me feel small. Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the pleasure and progress comes from climbing it.
Xi’an Cuihua Mountain
Cuihua Mountain is now a national geopark located in China. It is known among the Chinese people due to its stunning natural beauty and suitability for hiking. With an elevation of 2132 meters, It is a part of Qinling Mountain Ranges located 23 km south of downtown Xian. This area is one of the first eleven geo-park sites approved by the National land resources department in China. The spectacular area approximately thirty-two square miles in size with a maximum height of 2,600 square feet. Earlier, it was established as a Shang Lin royal forest park and a royal garden named Yu Huayuan during the Qin Han and Tang dynasties. It is considered a suitable summer destination for local people.
Cuihua Mountain is a well-developed geo-par that is well-known for its unique and unusual landslide topography. As a result, it's also known as a natural geomorphological museum. According to historical records, a landslide occurred in 780 BC as a result of an immense earthquake. The amazing scenery and its vast size make it stand out both in China and abroad. In 1922, It was called Zhongnanshan national forest after a landslide that occurred during the Zhou dynasty.
Cuihua Mountain (Geo-Park)
The Ganqiuchi forest gym section, Tianchi landslide science cum leisure section and Yifangyuan ecological sightseeing region are the three main sections of this geo-park. One can walk through old paths constructed during the Qin and Chu dynasties in the Ganqiuchi forest gym section. It will assist visitors in comprehending the difficult conditions that the old traders encountered when traveling from the north to the south of the Qinling Mountain and vice versa. Beautiful ink pine thick forests and a beautiful cloud sea can be found here.
In the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC), Cuihua Mountain was circled as the imperial hunting zone. It is said First Qin Emperor used to hunt in the mountain. In the West Han Dynasty(202BC-7AD), Emperor Wudi used to perform regular worship to heaven here. And in the Tang Dynasty (618AD-907AD), Emperor Taizong ordered Cuihua Mountain as the imperial summer resort. When hiking in the mountain one may meet the Taiyi Palace and Cuiwei Palace, which were the worshiping and amusement spot for emperors and officials in ancient times.
Cuihua Mountain delights visitors with beautiful and refreshing mountain scenery during the summer half-year. When winter arrives, the mountain will turn into a winter wonderland for ice skaters. The largest ski resort in Xian is the Cuihua Mountain Ski Resort. With an elevation of 1400 meters, the ski resort is located at the mountain's waist. It measures 800 meters in length and 70 meters in width.
Tianchi Lake
Tianchi Lake, also known as Taiyi Lake, is about 50,000 square meters in size. It features the rare natural geological museum in China and the world. Watch the strange stones and pass through the strange caves. You can take a yacht on the barrier lake, take the slip rope or row a boat in the rippling blue waves to see the scenic wonders.
This mountainous area is ideal for visitors to visit all year because it offers a variety of views. Summer can have spectacular views of the waterfalls. However, during the winter, the waterfall freezes. The climate in the region is often pleasant, with four distinct seasons.
The mountain are my bones
The rivers are veins
The forests are my thoughts
And the stars are my dream
The ocean is my heart
It’s pounding is my pulse
The songs of the earth write
The music of the soul
