She drives me crazy but I love

in #love8 years ago (edited)

She says that because she's hot she can get away with how she acts.

I guess it's true, but I don't know if it's because she's hot or if it's because I love her tremendously!

Today started off great, we had an amazing night last night if you know what I mean, then an amazing morning if you know what I mean lol.

She told me this morning that she made a promise to herself that she wasn't going to get in a fight with me from now until we get married this coming July.

It sounded so promising.

Then this morning, a few hours later, she had written a post about burning the American flag and that if any of her clients performed such an act that they aren't welcome to be her client.

She asked me what I thought about it before posting it to Facebook.

I told her that it might not be a good idea because some of her clients might believe in the first amendment and not come back to her again.

Man, bad idea.

Sometimes I feel like I need to learn when to shut up.

She told me she had no idea who I was and that she wanted me to leave for the day, her daughter cried when I left and all day long we've been fighting about it.

I don't even have any inclination to burn a fish, zip, zero, zilch, I was only trying to save her from losing clients, but somehow she interpreted it as that I want to burn the american flag.

All I know is that I love her with all my heart but I can't stand the stupid did we have and can not stand it when she tells me to leave.

Apparently, from what she tells me, all girls are like this and that I just don't know because I don't have much experience with woman.

My question is, is that true? Are they all that unsteady?

Sort:

The fight is bigger than you realize. She's American and patriotic and believes in the current system whereas your more idealistic and believe things could be improved upon to say the least. She has the true older American viewpoint you either for us or against us; whereas, you probably are like what? Who said we were competing like that... can we not all win? This is a tough relationship to maintain. Your basic core identities differ. But you said you love her and her daughter. Your respect her differences and see them as valuable in some way. She needs to be the same back to you. Respect that you see things differently and that is acceptable. Andnin today's market, whatever clients she has, she better try to keep because people are doing less and less service based expenditures. Opting to do hair, nails, salon services at home because it's too expensive to pay a professional who might or might not drop you based on a difference of opinion. So they should have taught her in school not ever to discuss certain topics with clients: religion, politics, or health. Those are essentially going to end up in a heated arguement, a client crying in your shoulder, or leave a not so pleasant feeling toward the whole experience. Great things to discuss include: upcoming parties, your children's cutest things they did that week, the local teams big game coming up, the clients shoes or blouse, anything light airy and fun. You want your client to respect your opinion on style but also compliment their uniqueness so they don't feel like your stepping on their toes. Do not set yourself up to be the person who gossips about serious issues at your saloon or service. This will get you burnt in the end because it comes back and offends someone else. And if your client insist on telling you a secret just say okay node and completely ignore what they say next. Trust me... they are testing you to see if you can actually be trusted! If you ignore the secret and it doesn't spread around town then they will in return respect your opinion/view even more. Relationships are hard, serving clients is much easier! :)

Than you for that, you should be a marriage counselor!

Hmm, I would rather give advice for free over the internet. Marriage is tough. But it's worth it.
