Today is "Sant Jordi", the equivalent of Valentine's Day in Catalonia! There is a legend with Jordi fighting a dragon and its blood spilling on the nearest flowers. That gave the tradition of women receiving red roses.. I share with you my beautiful rose♡

Sant Jordi´s Day Barcelona 'La Diada de Sant Jordi' is on 23rd April every year and is a very special day for romance and literature in Catalonia! It is also called the Feast or the Festival of St George
