The Indoctrination Of Love

in #love7 years ago (edited)

Now, I can't tell you how often I run into the issue of a dysfunctional family while meeting new people. Especially the nights where the awkward silence and out of place feelings you get when sitting at the dinner table with people you've never met. Yet, I enjoy it because it helps me get a grasp on what families are typically like outside of our own lives. One thing that really stands out is how the children of the family act and it makes me think about how the lives of each parent have affected them in some way.

If I hear screaming in the air, calmness throughout the house, quiet and absolute silence and even obnoxious sounds that drive you nuts... all this can determine a lot when you ask the question of why the family is the way it is. I'm still continuing to collect research and data, but that's just the problem. When generalizing how a parent should raise their kids... I have no right. It isn't a person's job. It almost makes you feel as if you have no right to be there. I've found that stepping outside of a comfort zone will help tremendously and it's necessary to understand more than what you see. It's necessary to understand what they see.

To be human is something special, but we have lost the appreciation of who we are. You see, I have always asked myself the question of life, religion, creation... etc. Yet, one thing that I have only just come to realize is something that has been in front of my face all along. Love... No paperwork, no emails and no phone calls can make someone see the truth. The physical part of being human will always be better than the mind. It doesn't matter how we were raised or how we were taught. Who we've been taught to be or who we're told not to be. The fact that remains is who we think we are. All of us have that feeling inside of our souls like we were made for something great, but it eventually fades because we lose sight.

I'm here telling you to stay true to yourself. No matter what society tells you to do. How politically correct you need to be to get people's attention or how to do something the way 'they' want. You are you and who can change that but you? Love is the answer and appreciation of you you are will get you there. We're all human, so why don't we start to act like it?
