original poetry & art

Angular lineaments now here,
Now nowhere your smile of burnt jade,
Your chivalrous mischief around the edges,
Smudged sage burning backwards,
You are the tides in a cedar grain.

I am the albino flower
Growing by the light of a cavefish
In a stalactited grotto - what do you know
Of my pallid lucidity? What do you glean
From my ghoulish countenance?

Neglect in the cycle of disarray,
Nonsensical fancies that crave moonlight.
I garden the youth of well-wishing desperation &
There you are crouching across from the moldy rope.
There you are, miraculous in your realness.

All these crevices are filled with musty avatars;
The spirits rise up through your serpent spine &
The elementals dance in decaying bark by firefly light.
The forces of nature commune in dissolution;
I see the mind of the sun in your eyes.

I always look at your images and pictures in the post, I see they are not occasional, they are carefully chosen, but now I see you have made it on purpose, not just found somewhere.
I am impressed! But you know - it's the right choice - your poetry has nothing in common with anything, it has a very specific mood, and perhaps only your own pictures can illustrate it the best, because your images have the same cismic mood as your poems.

You are spirit of the beauty of the simple, the wandering soul of the magical temple, that between fantasy worlds you walk, young and ethereal like games that fun in batches, you make them travel through role worlds, of magic sorcerers suns.
I do not know if your name is your name,
I ignore the power that heals from your voice, and I can not name you in my words, a light is crying out to a man,
eternal king that to all astonish, cheering with his beautiful poetry
@d-pend I admire you as a poet ..

Wow seriously the command of your English towards the ending if the poem, it's somewhat amazing, I mean the contrasting nature is what you painted vividly here.
It's always difficult for me to paint nature from my one angle, but my, you wonderfully did.
However, the way you paint nature is amazing really.

This one us beautiful on multiple levels it's got a whole OT of angles to look at it.
Amazing here, really amazing

Shamanistic properties run through this one, d-pen. The imagery is layered, deep, and original. The earthy battles and dances with the ephemeral, seamlessly and with dynamism in this fantastic write. Bravo.

Like Baudelaire you find beauty everywhere, the imagery you create is powerful, intimistic and personal, yet a sensible enough reader can relate and feel the message in their mind and soul. "Burnt jade" is something I've never imagined before and an "albino flower Growing by the light of a cavefish" is just amazing. That couple of verses themselves have enough heft to it to write a children's story.

I love the textures of these images! I can see hints of distorted photographs in the bottom ones, but what is the medium of the first image?

Glad you like them @erb and thanks for your curiosity!
Here are the original images in order:

Wow this is fascinating to see the starting points, thanks for sharing! It's amazing how they become completely unrecognizable in your transformations. The first one has such an architectural feel to it, I'm really surprised to see it came from a photo of a muddy forest floor. Well done.

I have to admit, poetry translated into another language (as in my case in Spanish) loses its essence a bit. But I tried to understand it and I managed to contemplate it. That, combined with visual art, makes a great work.

I must say that you really chose some more than tough vocabulary this time My Friend Daniel, because i had to go for thesaurus many times and it is an honor for me to write for you as i consider you one among the most finest Poets of the community, really appreciable <3
With lots of love and respect <3 <3 <3

You're a master poet @d-pend.
Definitely learning from you. Your use of metaphors to convey your message through the art of poetry is simply classless.
And it seems you love nature too, one of the first qualities of any good poet.
Giving Notes as you usually do at the end of your poems would really help too, helping one to understand intricately the ideas you're trying to pass accross.
Thank you.

I think you are blessed one, who's just here for impressing other, when I go through first on your work, I take it as some sort of copy to other, but its not, you are the best poet and best nature lover at this platform.
I never saw anyone who just picks some clicks and wrote out just like you, that's jealouing part for me actually, but I think I should turn into positivity, inspiration and enthusiasm.
whatever you write are basically, describe the actuality of that thing, which tells the world how much you love with nature, i want to tell you one thing all of this which you are doing now, should be a part of some exception thing, cause now people are not reacting much as that epic contribution deserved, its brilliant, its inspiration as today topic, and the most important thing its acceptable.
#d-pend just keep sharing such motivation things, its enthusiastic and become a reason for true peace of mind.
I want to thank you for your ever great contribution, its worth for us a lot...
Blessed You...
