Sceptical about the post though - having a bachelor's and a master's in Theology I always am when it comes to biblical issues, especially when my master's thesis was on Lilith - the 'first wife of Adam' ;)
I would LOVE to read your thesis! I have a theory that the Biblical account is written by Adam and his descendants which are still sleeping, as it says God put Adam in a deep sleep but never mentions that Adam actually woke up. In that case, he may have forgotten the name and identity of his female partner and misconstrued the account of what actually happened between them in the beginning. Fascinating! Thanks. Please share your work if you don't mind.
