GALWAY girl - A love story on how we met

If you ever meet someone like this, never let go.

She's an adventurer but she feel in love with a common man like me.
Gave her a peck on the cheek the first time we met,
that became the story of how we first met.

How did we meet..
A bar, specifically a dart's bar,
a dozen of us were hanging out together.

Our eyes met, not just once, a couple of times.
They(our friends) left to play darts by the side,
It was just us now.

I swear I was so embarrassed on what was about to happen.
I asked "Do you know how to play darts?"
She said " Just a little bit"

Me being the "man" decided to show her how to play,
its her turn now "bulls, double bulls, triple 20"
Her friends laugh and asked if I knew she was the best player here.

Awkward as it was, she told me there's nothing to be ashamed of,
her dad was the town's best.
She jestered "Maybe I can show you how to dart " *smiles

Midnight struck, we all decided to get to a club nearby.
We were all laughters since the darts,
We were in a group of 12,
but it felt like just the two of us.

On the dance floor she started moving those hips,
all the guys on the dance floor was just looking at her.
But I was the lucky one.
We were whispering & giggling the whole night.

She was different, we clicked so well.
I didn't want the night to end.
But all good things must come to an end(cliché)

We shared a cab,
sent her home,
gave her a peck on the cheek,
told her we needed to meet again.

We met the next day for lunch.
