Lost my Phone.
Days like these you realize how closely knitted you are to your phone.
It was a regular weekday morning. Got ready, had breakfast, booked a cab and here I am in front of my workplace's main gate.
I have this knack of checking my pockets every once in a while, which I did just after leaving the cab. Suddenly, a streak ran through my body when i realized I had lost my phone. First instinct, check my bag. Nope, not there, call the cab driver, but for that I need to ask a stranger for a quick borrow(personally I hate this kind of situations).
Third instinct, go find a friend, call the cab driver, which I did as soon as i could. Unfortunately he denied.
Fourth instinct - Track it using web browser. Done, now reach that place somehow. Unfortunately, by the time I reached there, phone was switched off and gone Poooffff!
Long story short, I did all the things that were necessary afterwards, went and got a CSR approved by local Police(which was a headache) and blocked my SIM cards, changed passwords.
But from the bottom of my heart, I still cannot figure out how and at which moment I lost my phone. With that, My photos, GA creds, and other personal stuff vanished as well.
TBH, for the few days when I was without my phone, Ironically I felt good. I enjoyed loads of "me" time, looking over the window, watching the world and all. But the truth is, however good it feels, you still need a phone at least to be in contact with your loved one's, especially when you work away from home.
Anyway, slowly yet patiently getting back on track now, getting my accesses back, recovered this account yesterday and as they say, LIFE GOES ON.
