Lomocoin (LMC) is the world’s first built-in crypto-currency entertainment app which combines an augmented reality (AR) game to real maps and real life to drive commerce. The goal of LMC is to bring never before seen traffic, trade and monetizing opportunities to business while giving customers a fun AR game that could afford them special discounts. Like Groupon which offers business incentives to sell through their app and give customers the discounts, LMC rewards business with traffic and allows customers to explore the map and collect LMC’s that can be redeemed for discounts or goods at participating stores.

They plan to cooperate with local partners in Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, Australia, and Russia where blockchain and cryptocurrencies industry is growing fast to carry out innovative advertising, for a attention and traffic driven economy.

Why does that matter: Conference update means they have exciting news to share. Possible game partnerships? They already have a working product with millions of downloads in China. Anything new and exciting could rocket the coin, and give it more attention.

A whole tourist experience or even something as simple as a date could be built around this platform. Imagine sight seeing around a town and collecting coins which at the end of the day could result in 50% coupon for a meal. Every kid who has a cell phone can now contribute to the LMC ecosystem by playing the treasure hunt game to collect LMC’s which can be used to shop something as small as candy or towards maybe a gaming console.

Pattern 2:
LMC officials can set appropriate LMC’s at popular events, parks, shops, and tourist areas to drive LMC ecosystem. Build partnerships with brands to contribute to LMC ecosystem with LMC ads.

Do I have a stake in LMC? Yes. Is it worth the 7c investment? Yes. FYI I am biased and bullish on this project like I was for ETH when I bought it back in December because I believed in what they were trying to accomplish. However, as always, be cautious.
