Github Logic

According to the website, Github is a development platform. There are many open source projects and developers are working on different projects. It was a way for many of these projects to proceed without a large cost and allow them to look at the code that included and worked as allowed, if allowed.

As mentioned above, Steem is among the projects with different entrances in Github. There can be pull requests to control the code, what to include and what is not included in the discussion, and what is going on there. He puts them all up or down on a file, to look at someone and see what's going on.

Towards the second part of October 2018, Microsoft acquired Github. Before that, it was just a community store. According to a publication published by Microsoft on its blog site, the goal is:

Github will protect the developer's first installment of GitHub, and will continue to work independently and openly. Together, the two companies will work together to accelerate the use of GitHub enterprise, to achieve more in every phase of the development life cycle of developers. and Microsoft's developer tools and services to provide new audiences.

As far as I know, STEEM continues to work with Github and many other open source projects. Whether this changes will probably depend on what Microsoft is doing. If they keep their hands away, the projects will continue, even if some of them inevitably go to another public site, while some of them work with a large community of developers.
