YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, DO AND FEEL
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, DO AND FEEL
From our basic instincts to our basic needs we are a part of the nature, we can not deny that. In the recent decades, especially with the industrial revolution, our food have changed. This change was in a relatively slow pace that we still are not aware of it fully. On the outside we may look still the same but on the inside? Can you tell that we are?
Changing of our eating habit is ongoing, let's say, for the recent 100 to 200 years. The percentage of it is compared to our time of existence is negligibly small. So I don't think we can tell how it changes us from the inside and even outside.
Our food was not the only change we had, our moving habits also changed along with continuously rising stress which is much more than our ancestors ever had. These three major changes will have major negative impacts on us, if not now maybe later but it will...
Understanding how our body works and what it needs is the main problem. Everybody owns some gear nowadays, like cars, mobile phones, electronics etc. We mostly now how to use them, how to protect them and how to maintain them but we do not show the same attention to our body which is the most complex gear we have.
We are still far away from understanding our body throughly but most simply we can say that our body is a machine that is created by the perfect engineer. Thinking it as a machine and knowing that it is an inseperable part of the nature is the beginning. The next part is to see how similar machines that exist in the nature ,which are the animals as we call it, are working. What they eat? What they do? How they feel? Are they using microwaves, are they frying their food, are they using refined products, do they mess with the genes of the natural food?.. Are they sitting in front of a "box" all day long, are they waiting for their food to be delivered to their shelters?.. Are they feeling desperate all the time, are they trying to earn more money, are they trying to get promoted? A big NO is the answer..
Thinking of our body as a machine and knowing how similar machines work...
- Our body mainly consists of proteins, fat, carbonhydrates, minerals, vitamins and other organic chemicals.
So we must provide it with these natural supplies and must avoid inorganic and modified supplies.
- All the similar machines hunt or move for food and use their parts, joints, muscles etc., to the maximum if not the less used part becomes smaller and weaker and eventually vanishes..
Move also enables the nutrition to be delievered through out the body more effectively.
- Stress is a good thing in times of fight or flight situations but too much of it destroys the system. Brain is the driver so messing with it is messing with your whole system.
"We do not show the same attention to our body which is the most complex gear we have."
You are what you eat, what you do and what you feel... Nature shows us the way we should live, sticking to it is the key. ..
I agree with your determinations and suggestions, that's good article.
I want to share a video about animals nutritional, this is a funny video :)
Sure, I know you don't mean this :)
:) that is more or less what i want to tell :p
