Dramatic Ronaldo's Penalty in the Final Minutes Bring Madrid to the Semifinals
Real Madrid vs Juventus match results for Champions League quarter-final second leg on Thursday, at Santiago Bernabeu, after dramatically with a score of 1-3. Aggregate 4-3. Los Blancos qualify through last-minute penalty.
It was an incredible match, taking place at home to Real Madrid. It looks like Juventus took inspiration from the revival of AS Roma over Barcelona yesterday. As we know Roma entered the second leg game behind aggregate score 4-1. They then scored three goals and qualified for the semi-final with an away goal advantage.
The Bianconeri imitate a similar move, though not yet fully successful. They scored quickly in the second minute through Mario Mandzukic. Actually both goals happen with the same pattern, and proved to be both effective. Stomach bait is sent from the right side, gored by Mandzukic on the side of kirar, near the far post. And both are GOL! Aggregate is currently 3-2, still for the benefits of Los Blancos. See the second trailer below.
And this seems to be a tactic already devised by manager Massimiliano Allegri. Because for the next five minutes that's how the Juventus boys do. Send the ball from the right, towards the former Los Blancos player, to headlong into the goal. Still fail so far, but the same way is repeated continuously. Targeting the weak point of Real Madrid.
And that goal, as presented by OptaJoe is the quickest conceded goal ever suffered by Los Merengues in the Champions League event.
The 8th minute of the same thing happened again. This time Douglas Costa sent a low pass from the right. Just about to be the next goal. The 11th minute hosts try to retaliate. One short pass from Luka Modric went to Gareth Bale, whose low shot was stopped by Gianluigi Buffon. The vomit struck by the Welsh player with his heel but wide. And behind there Cristiano Ronaldo got angry, pointing a bait at him would be easier to score.
Isco 14 minutes managed to thrill the opponent's net. but what happened? The goal was disallowed by referee Michael Oliver of England, after an offside rate was incurred first. The 15th minute should have been 2-0. The ball made it to Mandzukic but bounced and was captured by Keylor Navas. The 17th minute of Juventus made its first turn. Rather strange, just 17 minutes! Stephan Lichtsteiner came on for the injured Mattia De Sciglio.
The 25th minute is increasingly seen how miserable Los Merengues without the presence of captain and their central defender, Sergio Ramos. At the same minute Sami Khedira tried an ambitious move, firing from distance but wide.
GOAL! DISASTER for Real Madrid. GOL BOTH! 3-2 on aggregate scores at this time, still for the benefits of the host. But for how long? As you can see in the above footage then the two goals conceded Zinedine Zidane's squad happened in a similar way. The gastric feed from the right, greeted by Mandzukic header on the left side, near the far post.
The second half had already begun, and Zidane made two changes at once. Bale and Casemiro out, replaced by Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez. Obviously, he wants a goal here. Minute 49 immediately visible reaction from the Real Madrid with their attacks, although not really dangerous goal for the visitors.
AND GOL AGAIN! AGGREGATE 3-3! One ball easily fell into the penalty box, but failed to be saved by goalkeeper Navas. Wild ball struck by Blaise Matuidi to the empty goal. This will be an extra time for both teams.
It's been 83 minutes. The Bianconeri need a goal again if they do not want this match to extend into extra time in the past is one of the benefits of Real Madrid. Already 7 yellow cards out of referee pocket Michael Oliver from England. We can see at least one red card tonight.
RED CARD AND PENALTI! 4 minutes injury time Buffon referee dikartumerah after protesting excessively when Benatia break Isco inside the penalty box. Real Madrid's best chance to score a goal and also qualify for the semi-finals. 5 minutes extra time Wojciech Szczesny entered and Gonzalo Higuain out. Ronaldo forward as executor of GOOOOL! 1-3, 4-3 on aggregate!
After an injury time of 8 minutes, referee Michael Oliver finally blew his long whistle. Real Madrid vs Juventus results closed with the final score 1-3, aggregate 4-3.
