Jokes aside, the nuclear family did that before it was shattered.
Criminals and psychos turned that way because they can see the game is rigged, the deck stacked against them with no hope of improving the odds by themselves. Understanding the scale of it can drive you mad.

Its the people in power who are creating the chaos.
Just look at what is going on here with steemit. It is those self proclaimed authority figures who create the flag wars and scams. Our top 20 witness selection model is in the toilet and provides us with a centralized decision making body controlled by essential one person, i saw someone say that it comes down to 5 accounts.

Steemit is not democratic ether. look what a mess the self proclaimed central authority is making of this place. We have even had good creators bail.The role of self proclaimed authority figures is to create caose, its how most people are easily manipulated.
Steemit has become a very unattractive environment. If we want things to improve, it needs to become a very accepting and friendly place with a focus of distributing as widely as possible.
