I gave it a shot again, from scratch.

Still now way it would recognize the Nvidia driver and get it to work. Nouveau works well, but it is not detected for GPU stuff.

So I guess Linux is nice to have for something you never use, don't know. Nvidia does not seem to get their drivers working for years now. Shame.

      Sorry to hear. What's the thing with Nvidia?
      I personally had better results with nvidia than with nouveau, but it may depend a lot on the hardware...

        Under load it just hangs. Not good.
