  decor and things
  from years past.

• It is still a house,
  as I unpack boxes,
  memories of the past.

• I look through them
  remember the smells
  my life in the past.

• But as they emerge
  and clutter the space,
  a home it becomes
  now.

• The present is where I now live
  forgetting the past,
  occasionally,
  to live in the now.
