Although, components of the television dates back to early civilization. The television itself has evolved immensely, from the days of the cathode bulky tubes to closet wooden Telly's in monochrome broadcast to ultra slim 4d graphic, ultra real o led screens. This had no doubt been a huge step and tool in civilization to mankind. But just like a coin, there are pro's as well as con's.

A few days ago I had seen a tod of say the age 5 or thereabout, retarded in all ramifications, as she might well be described, she was not only singing to an adult-rated song but choreographing the song to a great degree of accuracy amidst her peers. I was dazed!

This is just a typical example of what the television has transformed into. For local contents no longer promote creativity but obscenities. Gone were the days when our fathers would sit us beside them at 9'0' clock to go through the gruesome boredom of interpreting an already understood network news. Now, the TV stations air 24hours and play music for almost 18hours. Most of which promote violence, sex and strong languages.

And we hear of breaking news, sporadic killings from teenagers or adolescents. And we complain, instead of going back to the drawing board to organize our media contents. I hate to seem archaic, but when your acquaintance or friend becomes a victim of the next music inspired shootout, I'd hate to say you read it here.
