Christmas behind
Mokhlesur Rahman: Today, on 25th December, the very significant day of the Christians. This day is celebrated around the world as Christmas or Christmas. Christianity celebrates the day as the birthday of Jesus Christ.
But when is this Christmas? Why is this day celebrated on December 25th? Let's know.
Christmas means more than just a lot of gifts and family, but it also has its oldest stories.
Many came with a traditional story of the day, in which you know that on Christmas day Jesus was born in a cottage, a shepherd and three wise people before visiting him. These scenes are visible throughout the world on Christmas. But what really happened that day? Is this traditional story of Christmas true?
Experts, even the Gospel of Matthew and Luke in the Bible, point to different stories.
Where is the origin of this story?
There are many stories of Christmas in the Bible. The Gospel of Matthew discusses three wise men and Bethlehem stars, on the other hand, the Gospel of Luke tells the child Jesus to visit the shepherds in the cows, because at that time all the cisterns were full.
We all know this story that one day Mary can learn from an angel, to show the way to the salvation of God, the Son of God is coming in her womb. Shortly after, a census was announced. King Herod wanted everyone to travel to their villages so that they could benefit from counting. Joseph took his fiancé Marie and then proceeded to Bethlehem. When they reached the city, there was no empty place for them to stay. A farmer felt pity for Mary and arranged for a cottage to give birth to her child.
The traditional figure of this story is the shepherd, the cow, the donkey and the three young men surrounded by the wise man Jesus. But Pope Benedict XVI claimed that there is little truth in this picture. According to him, at least animals were not there. The issue of cows and donkeys comes from early Christians' comments that even the animals have accepted the Son of God.
When did the star appear?
It has been said in Matthew that the wise people saw a bright light and followed Jesus by following it. In a theory, it was a nova or a white dwarf star that exploded, which was discovered by Chinese astrologers in fifth century BC.
In another theory, it was the Jupiter planet, which was seen going west west from September 3rd to next May.
According to John Mojal's astronomer Gryphith Observatory of Los Angeles, the star was actually the planet of Jupiter and Venus receptors. It was held on 17 June before the second world. He said, from Persia it was seen that the two planets from the side of Jerusalem were merged into the single impressive object.
Who were the three wise people?
According to Matthew, they came from the east. He called them 'Maghi' (wise person), which is a word used in the description of the priesthood of the zurastianism. It is a monogamous Persian religion that seeks guidance in the stars. It is believed that they were three, and later they were confirmed as kings. When it was marked that they were Balestar, Melkiar and Kaspersar - the Arabs, Persians and the King of India respectively.
According to experts, this incident has been linked to the story that Christianity has been recognized by all the Gods created by God. Originally written in an eighteenth century, which is claimed to be the own version of Magi's events. There are more than a dozen religious marching stories.
Did they instantly visit?
No The Bible mentions that when they arrived there, he (Jesus) was a 'mature child'. According to many, it was possible that at least a year had passed. That is why Christians celebrate the date of January 6, in addition to the birth anniversary of Jesus' birth, separately as' Epiphani 'day, day of the wise person.
Where was Jesus originally born?
According to most experts, he was born in Bethlehem.
The Gaspal of Luque, the place has been described as a cauldron, because there was no place to live in Bethlehem's 'Sarichen' where they were staying. But the word 'Saraiyakhana' is confusing, in fact it is the Greek word of the 'extraordinary room'.
When you think that most people were animals at home, not in a separate building, it is unlikely that Jesus was born in Goyleagh.
Jesus was probably born in the main house of the poor housekeeper who gave shelter to them.
When was Jesus Christ born?
It was not the case of the year 2017 or born on December 25. According to Matthew, Jesus was born in the final year of King Herod's reign. King Herod died before the fourth century BC. Jesus likely was born two years earlier. That is, he was born before the fifth or sixth century BC.
Why is December 25 selected as Christmas?
