3 Ways to Instantly Increase Your Happiness.



Meditation:

Meditation is a great way to increase happiness, this is because it calms your mind and stops you from stressing out about your daily life as much as you would usually do since meditation that allows you to become calmer and live your life more from the present moment. The problem with meditation is that not many people do it and they do not do it enough, the more meditation you are able to do the better and less stressed out you will be about that interview you have to go to, about doing that job you have to do and any other worries that you have on your head. You can start off by doing 5-minute meditations and then incrementally increase that to 10 minutes, 15 minutes and so on. The best times would be in the morning and at night.

Exercise:

The second way that you can instantly increase your happiness is to go on a jog or exercise and some way shape or form. Whenever you feel down , upset, depressed you can instantly go for a jog and you can instantly lift weights. This is great because exercising is all around, you can choose to go to the park or you can choose to go to the gym and even the slightest body movements increase how you feel about yourself. Cardio it's one of the best things for making yourself feel better as exercise has been proven to naturally increase chemicals in the brain that can increase dopamine receptors making you feel better.

Getting better sleep:

One of the last ways I would recommend to make yourself feel happier especially when you're feeling down is to get better sleep, not many people actually sleep how they should, because they don't get enough sleep or whether the quality of this sleep is just not good. The two ways in which you can increase how much sleep you get and the quality of your sleep this by using earplugs to block out an external noise and using an eye mask to block out in the external light.

Altogether, these three tips will help you increase your happiness even by the smallest fraction as long as you put all of them into play together and you will dramatically see an increase in how you feel on the regular basis.

I used to meditate back in high school when I got overwhelmed because of all the (unnecessary) workload. I can tell from experience that it works like magic. Meditating for as little as five minutes took out half my stress and helped me focus.
