Teacher Should be like this ---My Perspective

in #life6 years ago

What does a student expect from a teacher and how can the teacher meet those demands?

I have always been a respectful student for my teacher, but sometime I feel restless, uncomforted and irritated during class due to some points.
These points are:

  1. I dislike it when my esteemed professor give attention to eloquent students and ignores reserved ones despite the fact that they are not from the dull students.
  2. I dislike him when he reviles a fellow teacher before us.
  3. Those teachers who don’t practice what they say or preach; instead their deeds belie their words.
  4. I dislike the teacher who is very formal and strict as it remove frankness between teacher and students.
  5. Repetition of the same point again and again irritates me as well. A teacher should teach students according to their mental caliber.
  6. I dislike it when he assigns every co-curricular pursuit just to the monitor of my class. Many other students of class are more talented, responsible and capable then Class representative.
  7. When he rejects my views, saying that they are contrary to the majority opinion.
  8. A teacher should tell his students exactly what he expects from them. Such clear suggestions serve as incentives and a source of extrinsic motivation.
  9. I dislike him when he becomes a close fisted man in appreciating someone.
  10. I also like or dislike a teacher on the basis of his character.
  11. I dislike the professor who forgets that he himself was a student in past.
