The heart is a funny thing

That typical story of: Girl meets guy at social group, among mutual friends, they have the most amazing connection and the girl is in a long term relationship with her bf, living together, and so the friendship becomes a secret, "platonic" friendship over whatsapp.

Why do these things happen? Is it a test or simply a sign from the universe?
And what does the girl do from here? She would lose her home and stability if she had to leave and who knows if things with the other guy would work out?

She is fearful of change. Breaking the routine of her life.

A rock and a hard place.

Timing is ironic and never convenient. Life will never make this decision an easy one.
