I Love Fridays!

Maybe even for the same reasons you do, or maybe not. At the moment, I'm fortunate enough to have a part time job that helps with the bills that are always in my mailbox. I love Friday's because, yes the week is over (they're usually long with way to many "other" things that come up), and I can look forward to working harder on the weekend on all the things I can't seem to finish. For instance, my yard! Which now I've split into a 2 day project, not that it's overly enormous, but that it's getting to be too much for me AND my lawnmower. Recently it's had a bad turn of events and I wire this, and wire that. I've thought about trying so duct tape as well. It's old and runs great, just getting a little tired. I guess it's so bad my kids gave me a gift card for my birthday last month to get a new one, one that has a self driving front tire so I don't have to push. Well, I hate to admit it, but I've now reached the ripe age of 60 and no one at work knows... maybe that's a good thing? Could I have possibly grown a sentimental attachment to my mower? Well, we HAVE spent hours and hours together over the years, hmmm, wonder if that's a disorder?

I love Friday's because after the lawn is done, I like to sprinkle it by hand, mainly because I just like to and it's been pretty warm so far here. Tonight I get done, get into my favorite chair in the house to look on steemit, and what do you know... we have a nice thunderstorm which waters my lawn for me.... again... I guess it's OK, because I didn't get to the backyard anyway. I thought it was still raining out, then I realized I had the window open and it was my little fountain on the patio making noise...

Yup, I Love Friday's - because now after 20 hours of being up, I might sleep a little bit I hope... until I get up again. Did I tell you that I Love Saturdays? LOL
